It has been a wonderful start to another school year. Our second and third year children have settled into a nice routine and have been presented with several new lessons in the math, language, and geography area already.
With the beginning of the autumn season this past week, we have begun to discuss the changes that are happening around us in nature. We have focussed on the changing of the leaves and the colors we associate with fall. The children have also learned which type of trees change color and why the leaves of deciduous trees change color. We will be continuing our discussion of Fall, learning about different leaves and the parts of a tree.
